The 2022 Season Will Feature Celebrated Chefs Eileen Andrade, Giorgio Rapicavoli, and Paula DaSilva
MIAMI, FL (March 21, 2022) – Celebrating its 26th year, VeritageMiami, presented by City National Bank returns with its iconic event series, bringing together over 2,000 food, beer and wine aficionados from across South Florida to eat, drink and unite – all to benefit United Way Miami. The highly regarded event series will showcase a world-class gathering of notable Miami chefs, outstanding breweries, prestigious wineries and an impressive lineup of auction lots, benefitting the South Florida community. Continuing with its signature events – Craft Beer Tasting and Interactive Dinner, VeritageMiami proceeds benefit United Way Miami’s work in education, financial stability and health. Since its inception, VeritageMiami has raised more than $14 million for a stronger Miami.
At the fan favorite Craft Beer Tasting on Thursday, April 14, beer enthusiasts will admire the inspiring murals of Wynwood Walls while enjoying brews from local, regional and national craft breweries complemented by mouthwatering bites from some of South Florida’s most sought-after restaurants. Participating breweries include Unbranded Brewing Co., Cerveceria La Tropical, The Tank Brewing Company, Tripping Animals Brewing, etc. Participating restaurants include Unbranded Smokehouse, We Shuckin’ Southern Eatery, Mr. Baguette, Bolivar Restaurant Bar Lounge, Old Lisbon, among others. In addition to Craft Beer Tasting, corporate sponsor guests have access to a night of networking with Pros Mix & Mingle. Wrapping up the season will be the signature Interactive Dinner on Friday, May 20 at the Intercontinental Miami Hotel. Known as the signature event for VeritageMiami, the event will feature an all-star lineup of three past VeritageMiami participating chefs, including Eileen Andrade of the beloved Finka Table and Tap, Amelia’s 1931 and her newest concept, Barbakoa by Finka; Chopped champion, Giorgio Rapicavoli of Luca Osteria and coming soon, the new location of Miami’s favorite, Eating House; and Paula DaSilva, executive chef of The Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale where she oversees all culinary operations for its acclaimed restaurant, Burlock Coast as well as banquets, in-room dining, pool and beach. This is the ultimate good time for wine and food lovers to interact and cook with a trio of celebrity chefs guiding guests as they prepare a gourmet dinner right at their tables while enjoying delicious wines and interacting with friends. The 2022 VeritageMiami season is being chaired by Susan Potter Norton and Frank Gonzalez.
