World-Class Charitable Culinary Event Returns with Celebrity Chefs Bradley Kilgore and Amaris Jones

MIAMI, FL (May 15, 2023)VeritageMiami presented by City National Bank, one of United Way Miami’s most anticipated lineup of events, returns with its iconic three-day series. The world-class culinary event brings together a who’s who of more than 2,000 wine and food enthusiasts for a gathering of top sommeliers, notable chefs, prestigious wineries and an impressive line-up of auction lots. Since its inception 27 years ago, VertiageMiami has brought hundreds together to eat, drink and unite for a good cause, raising more than $15 million to benefit United Way Miami and its mission to build a stronger Miami through education, financial stability and health.

As the first major annual charity wine and food festival in South Florida, VertiageMiami has been vital in helping United Way Miami build a network of more than 60 organizations and 100 programs throughout Miami-Dade County aimed at helping those most in need. The funds raised go directly to United Way Miami’s many initiatives and impact programs.

“VertiageMiami has evolved over the years along with our community, but its vision and mission has remained constant – to raise funds and awareness of the mission of United Way Miami,” said Symeria Hudson, president and CEO of United Way Miami. We have been fortunate to count on the supporters and champions of VeritageMiami for 27 years. Through this event, the funds raised are used to improve the lives of many in our community.

“The sense of community at VertigageMiami is inspiring,” added Hudson. “We are incredibly grateful to City National Bank for their partnership and to our wonderful chairs, Patricia and José Mas. More than 54% of the county’s population are not able to afford basic needs.” This is why events like VertiageMiami are so critical to our mission.”
