The 25th edition of VeritageMiami kicked off with Farm to Fork Brunch on April 11. A refreshing twist on Sunday brunch curated by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, chef Justin Flit, chef Niven Patel and chef Brian Nasajon, the event took place at Coral Gables Country Club and was livestreamed for virtual brunch pod guests who joined with their interactive food and beverage kits. Guests reveled in South Florida’s culinary bounty in a celebration of farm-to-table sustainability, paired with exciting wines and a lively auction.
On June 18, the Interactive Dinner was headlined by celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo. Foodies had the opportunity to be the next top chef, following along with chef Adrianne as they prepared a gourmet dinner à la carte, right at their tables or via livestream from the comfort of their homes. The event included a lively auction with students from Johnson and Wales University, Florida International University and Miami-Dade College doubling as sous chefs. This year, the Interactive Dinner took place with enhanced safety protocols including a virtual participation option, reduced capacity, face coverings and sanitation stations throughout.
