MIAMI (Feb. 18, 2021) – VeritageMiami, presented by City National Bank, in its 25th year returns in a hybrid series format, offering interactive virtual and in-person participation. The 2021 star-studded line-up includes chef Adrianne Calvo, James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, chef Justin Flit and chef Niven Patel. Continuing with its three main events – Craft Beer Tasting, Interactive Dinner and Farm to Fork Brunch – VeritageMiami proceeds benefit United Way of Miami-Dade’s programming in education, financial stability and health. Kicking off the 25th edition of VeritageMiami is the Farm to Fork Brunch on Sunday, April 11. A refreshing twist on Sunday brunch curated by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz, chef Justin Flit and chef Niven Patel, will take place at Coral Gables Country Club and via livestream for virtual brunch pod guests joining with their interactive food and beverage kits. Guests will revel in South Florida’s culinary bounty in a celebration of farm-to-table sustainability, paired with exciting wines and a lively auction.
Fast forward to May for the coveted Craft Beer Tasting at Wynwood Walls on Thursday, May 13. The most popular event provides guests with brews and delicious bites from top-notch craft breweries and top South Florida restaurants. Livestream guest will enjoy “to go” beer and bites quarantine kit from the privacy of their homes.
Wrapping up the festivities on Friday, May 14 is the Interactive Dinner headlined by celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo. Interactive Dinner provides foodies with the opportunity to be the next top chef, following along chef Adrianne as they prepare a gourmet dinner à la carte, right at their tables or via livestream from the comfort of their homes. Event includes a lively auction with students from Johnson and Wales University, Florida International University and Miami-Dade College doubling as sous chefs for guests who might need an extra pair of knowledgeable hands.
Chaired by Yosbel Ibarra and Dr. Drew Stoudt, VeritageMiami brings together a who’s who of wine, beer, spirits and food lovers with top sommeliers, notable chefs, prestigious wineries and breweries and an exclusive lineup of auction lots all to benefit the South Florida community.
In line with the times, the VeritageMiami series is being presented in two experience formats where guests have the opportunity to choose to participate virtually or in-person from the comfort of their homes for each event. Virtual participants will receive meal and beverage kits for up to eight guests and exclusive livestream access.
